I know its only a minor issue but it drives me to distration...

the 1second closing / opening / goingto a new screen animation..

I have a note 2 and it frustrates me I am faster than my phone....

its ony 1 second (or maybe 1.25) I guess it may be the app thats jsut slow and the animations may be to fill in the gap... but if there animation is there to make it look nice id like to turn it off...

is this possible?

(this is everything all apps all actions that transition to another screen where the old one fades out / minimises)

I don't notice this problem but if you want you can set the animation scales to 0.5x from 1x:

wow thats better, there were 3 options turned them all off.. why does anyone want a "slow everything down option" enabled by default!

1 seconds is a long long time...

It's not 1 second, that much is obvious, it's just a figure put to make sense to the average user who won't understand milliseconds. The value is on the scale of x where 0.5x is half the speed of normal (1).

Mine is on 1, the default, there are no delays.

I use 0.5x for everything on my S with nova set to stock animation speeds, phone is snappy/fast but at the same time you can still see/notice the nice JB animations
