Speed up Chrome

Hi all!
I would like to improve my internet navigation speed. I believe that it is possible to improve it by tuning the configuration of your web browser. I have found an article (speed-up Firefox) which recommends this forum to ask anything related to PC tuning.
So I am having two questions:
1. Is it possible that internet goes faster when you modify the browser configuration?
2. If it is true, is it possible with any browser (I am using chrome), could you explain me how?

Thanks!

Carla

I would say your problem lies elsewhere (crap internet), and you should sort those problems out first. By making this thread you've demonstrated you have no idea what you're doing and I'd say it's a bad idea for you to be messing about the browser configs.

To answer your question, Google Chrome doesn't need speeding up, it's lightning quick.

There's no real way to tweak Chrome that would yield a tangible difference in network performance.

Try typing chrome://flags/ in the address bar if you're looking for something to twiddle.
