speedfan vs. coretemp

Speedfan is saying my Q6600 temps are 19/19/19/19 but coretemp is telling me 32/34/32/34 (Tj Max=100)... which is right?

I would trust core temp, I think speedfan you need to add 15c to temps.

I'd trust a bacon sandwich over Speedfan.
Use Coretemp, and don't bother with Speedfan unless you desperately need to change the fan speed for some reason (in which case just buy a pretty fan controller).

As mentioned by Big.Wayne, Speedfan will read your Q6600's core temps based on a TJunction of 85c. Speedfan is quite a useful app and really all you need to do is assign a 15c offset to put those core temperatures right

Otherwise Coretemp should do the job fine. I'd also try Realtemp.

I personally use Everest because it gives similar readings to coretemp but has vista gadgets too.

Isn't real temp supposed be the most accurate?
