Excellent drivers surely don't need a speed awareness course?
Even excellent drivers can make mistakes. Not everyone is as perfect as you.
Being able to follow speed restriction signs isnt perfection. It's a basic requirement.
Not being able to do it twice is either a conscious choice or stupidity.
I feel sorry for the biker/pedestrian you look at and don't see.Sometimes no matter how much you are paying attention you can look right at something and not see it - can be scary sometimes.
Have to say I've seen far too many roadworks with poorly thought out speed changes though including ones that have lead to crashes because whoever did the layout was a complete muppet.

Can't say I have that issue, and I remember when I first passed my test I drove so carefully.
If you get caught speeding twice in your first days something is wrong.
Why would you join a PC forum to ask about a speeding fine![]()

If you are normal there is a lot of stuff you don't see even when it's in plain view.. Unless you are asked about it or it some how interacts with you you will never know.. Its entirely possible to look directly at something and not see it..
Because most of us have cars?
I've had people make eye contact with me when I've been out riding and then pull out in front of me, it's unfortunately common.
Many people see things but don't actually see them.
I guess you never ever make any mistakes in life.
Not when it comes to being able to read speed signs. Hence my clean license. I've been able to read numbers since I was a very small child.
Bravo, bravo....mr perfect.
Didn't you know your considered an expert driver if you can maintain your speed to the speed limit. No no, just have a basic childhood level of reading comprehension. Not a lot to expect tbh. Especially not from an adult.
