Speeding Fine

If you tell them you didn’t slow down between the two flashes then it only counts as one offence and they can’t punish you twice for it ;)

Thanks for advice guys my thinking was they may offer me another speeding awaeness course for this second conviction if i sit on this first one for a bit ( I have 28 days to decide if i want points or the course ?

Worth a try would you think?

Thanks again

I'd sit on it until you get a court summons and then call the judge a moron for thinking speeding limits apply to you.

Should be a fine, 3pts and a course. Then another fine, 3 more points and another course. Might stop people thinking they are Lewis Hamilton driving around the streets of Monaco, instead of taking this or that punishment.

Never had a parking ticket either ?
I honestly don’t think there are many like you around. No parking tickets or speeding fines.
Nope never had either.
Closest I've ever got was pulled over in Trafford park for suspected drunk driving because I was swerving and just left a pub.
I was swerving to avoid pot holes in my then RS Turbo with 35 profile diamond cut alloys. Had a nice chat with the officer and off I went.
I like to think I drive pretty carefully to be honest I take pride in the things I do. I don't look down at people that speed or anything (unless they are the idiots doing 100+) but a few mph here and there i don't think should be punished.

Google says "Around 49% of UK drivers have never been formally charged or fined for a motoring offence."

I've been driving for rather longer than 20 years and have always had a clean license. The last time I received a parking ticket I was a teenager. And it was so unfair!

Like, totally?

Totally.

The whole sorry story is that I went to a shop on my motorbike. There was a designated motorbike parking bay around the corner that I had used many times, but on this occasion it was largely covered by a stack of building materials. I left my bike on the edge of the parking space thinking that would be OK. Came back to find a ticket. Looked into appealing but was told that the ticket had been issued by the police rather than a council traffic warden and that it would have to go to court, so it was better to just pay the fine.

Got my last (and only 2nd ever) speeding fine when I was 19 (now 53) and a parking ticket when I was 20.

I did send the first couple back with no longer at this address but still keep getting them - although never had a Tax reminder so not sure whats going on....
