A short 2 min clip by Ira Glass. Says it all really.

I am going through that still, and that clip puts it down what i have been feeling all this time. Although my work has moved on a lot in the last 2 years i feel it isn't matching my ambition yet. I have this goal and ambition, images in my head that I want to see for real. Those are not in print yet and those are yet to be made. Every project I want it to be better than the last one, every shot i want it to be another level and I will get there!

Good video, and sums up perfectly how I feel at times with my photography.
Problem is, how do you wade through "volumes of work" if your present lifestyle/job is time demanding ? Hats off to those who take the risk of making a clean break and transforming their hobby into a career.

You sleep less, don't go to the movies, make time and fight through it lol
