somewhere out there!
so I got £90 for Christmas I'm going to buy lots of new toys for the kitchen from a really good little cook shop. so I want to know what is the most important thing in your kitchen? I shall be buying a good paring knife and a new wooden chopping board for sure. p.s please be nice :)

You got that Delia short cuts Kenwood one? Made a cracking salmon mousse with it.
That is the one we have! Can you tell me the recipe for that salmon mousse? :)

it won't warp and should last you forever as long as you take care of it with a rub of vegetable oil now and then.
wow Thanks for that tip I have never heard that before so thanks. *dashes off to feed my trusty wooden board. :D

spending spree with £90 ? Good luck out there buddy your gonna need it :D
Well we are not made of money,:( you can get lots of decent odds and ends for £90 actually. As already mentioned a good sharp knife and a wooden board.

Sainsbury's Chefs Collection have a good quality and well priced selection of Knives.
I have a silicon spoon spatula thing, it is excellent for getting all the sauce out of bowls and pans.
If you have cash left get a saute pan. I have just bought one it is excellent again from Sainsbury copper bottom chefs collection and half price.
Cheers dude will take a peak.:)

Gladly :-)

There might be more inventive recipes from others but mine was nothing more than smoked salmon pieces, 3-4 sprigs of Dill, black pepper, rock salt and lemon juice to taste. Last but not least was 2-3 dessert spoonfuls of crème fraiche. Whizz it all up in the mini-processor then into the fridge to firm up. Too much crème fraiche will make it more of a dip though. :-)

Great thanks :D

pitchfork cani have some of your money your obviously loaded? :) FYI I got some nice knives a couple of chopping boards and a non stick saucepan all for £65 so :p :)
