Spending the millions!

THAT...

Is nice freakin' boat! :D

I'll take that :p

I would buy an awesome apartment in London, and one in Canada.

And after travelling the world (Taking a good few years :p) - I would start my own business :D

If I won 155,000,000 I would not spend 65,000,000 on a block of fibre glass that bobs about and inevitably you will get bored of it hehe xD

Although, it is very nice. Would a Princess Yacht be a better choice :p?

Sea sickness + boat = bad times :(

I'd spend a heck of a lot of time travelling for one thing if I won that amount of money. Lots of places I want to go that I probably never will. I'd give a lot to charity too - it's more money than I'm ever going to be able to spend.

I've had an obsession with this boat from the day they announced it.

This would be my daily run around

A previous thread had a yacht that came with a 'free' super car, was rather nice!

This one :D

Would buy the first house I ever lived in (this country). Huge mansion, 20 acre garden, two cottages and stables - wasn't ours but the owner (Sir Owen Aisher, R.I.P.) kindly let us stay while my mum got on her feet after leaving Nigeria. Beautiful house and it only went for £750k back in 1993.

To be honest the first thing I would do is clear all my family's debt and close friends.

£100,000,000 in the bank to give me about £3,000,000 in interest/income per year minimum.

The other 50 I'd struggle to spend to be honnest! I wouldn't be stupid and commute to work (if I did continue working) in a super car or waste money though I would enjoy the money as much as possible. Probably sort out the family and a few close friends with property or large deposits. Perhaps start a business.

Most would probably go on property abroad and holiday homes to be honnest!

Two very nice dingys there! I wonder what it would be like to actually live full time on a large yacht? Something like a £20M one rather than £65, big enough to be comfortable and do Atlantic crossings but small enough that I could afford to run it. Add a nice powerful 5-6m RIB or similar boat and that would be a brilliant start. I'd then spend the next couple of years just sailing around, living mostly off the boat, with a few holidays thrown in.

Out of interest how much would the running costs be on a boat like the OPs?
