I have it pre ordered, but may cancel and wait a few months where it likely will drop to £20 as I hear it is a smaller game, hence why it is priced £10 less than the original. Will also give time for beta testing to be done and mods to be made. Will see how I feel closer to release date.
Madness how waiting 6 weeks I got it for almost half the price, lucky I canceled the pre order

It is smaller than the original by quite a margin but I don't think that's a bad thing considering that one really got repetitive with the side stuff later on.
This one has more fun traversal, better gameplay overall and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Did anyone end up getting this? I canceled my pre order as I did not like the whole gaming being in the snow. Plus it seemed much shorter so I felt price will be sub £20 in a few months anyway and I am in no rush as plenty to play.
I did see a mod that removes the snow, but it looks terrible.

Yep, been playing it on my Steam Deck. It's brilliant. More polish than the first one..snow didn't bother me at all. Looks fantastic.

Yeah it's worth around £15, this and Spiderman remastered was first games I played on PS5, and I found miles as a game a lot worse then original, felt like a decent dlc pack but with one of the most annoying side characters I've ever heard, and that's saying something considering first game has MJ missionsPicked this up for a little under £17 assuming my Quidco cashback tracks. Usually does and at least I get to play it over the winter holidays as it fits the season of the game with all the snow
Lots of people says it's better than the OG game. Will see how it goes. I will get the remaster once it is under a tenner in a year or two for my collection as I already played that on a PS4 Pro back in the day.

It is. More polished, a few evolved gameplay elements, great soundtrack and character. Fun story. A little short and not great if you don’t like the main character.

I like main character a lot, I just freaking can't stand his best friend, the current movies have same issue, I can't wait for next Spiderman to hit pc tho

Both are good games but man they got so repetitive after a while.
Hoping miles will be a lot less repetitive as smaller game.
Also I hope they took that criticism to heart with Spiderman 2 that's coming out next year.

I found it to be the same unfortunately.
Damn. But the game has less than half the content overall. My understanding is 8-9 hours for the main story and yet again for the repetitive side stuff.

Lol. I am in a similar boat age wise, but as long as I enjoy the game play I can put up with subpar story I find. What I struggle with when it is the other way around like Uncharted Legacy. Gameplay is a bit repetitive and boring in that game. Constantly climbing in a boring fashion.

The rope swinging is great, that's one thing I liked about it. But yeah... I just can't seem to stick to a game nowadays, my brain is frazzled I think
I haven't tried the new Uncharted, looked at some vids and thought nah.
