Spider - what is it?

Anyone identify what this monster is? Have a feeling its a false widow, but want to make sure!

Yeah

There were quite a few of those sacks. Were. Not any more, at least of the ones that I could see (didn't go searching for more!!)

I found one of them while replacing the felt on my shed. Ive no idea what it is either. Ive done the usual google picture search. The one i saw had a slightly different pattern on its back, more like a line of dots (although it was hard to get a good look at it), but still the same spider im sure.

Hell no! There is no way I was leaving that thing so it could go and hide while I went looking for fire lol.
It found itself being flattened by my size 12w trainers.
I would have just rolled the atlas stone and squashed it that way, but we were about to start lifting them so didn't want it over us!

Almost certainly a false widow, they really seem to be thriving across the UK now.

Looks like a female Steatoda grossa to me. And she looks gravid with eggs :/
