What does this look like to you guys? 1 disk is an older F1, the other is an F3 just bought today.
 
Hi it does say that. for small writes it is pretty bad though

If I enabled write back caching 0.5 is about 110,000

if you click start/all programs/accessories/snipping tool you can grab just the outline of atto and it will be clearer to see results,what make of motherboard you using? installed latest rst drivers?
 
doing it now.
p6t deluxe v2.

fresh install of everything, all latest drivers. OS is on my SSD.

The f1 has similar performance on its own at the smaller sizes...

does that explain the average write/reads at smaller sizes not being much better because of the F1?

sorry updated my last comment...meant the f1 had similar speeds to the raid at smaller sizes.
 
i dont know,but it could be,sorry i dont use raid 0 but i have owned f1/f3 samsungs the f3 is a real fast drive
 
you could do but i dont think youd notice the difference? but its upto you

difference in real world usage i mean not benchmarks
 
Changing the HDD from an F1 to an F3 isn't going to make much difference.

Small random reads and writes are still going to be terrible when compared to an SSD.
