Spit Roast

My dad loves a good BBQ spit roast so thought I would give him one for Christmas :eek:

He already has a good gas BBQ and a chimenea so something where he could do sausages, skewers, steak etc would be great, either on the BBQ or in front of the chimenea. The large ones for things like hog roasts are a lot of money (some thousands) so doesn't need to be that big

Anyone have any good Rotisserie / BBQ knowledge?

I saw the thread title and thought "I never get to see this kind of thread before its deleted" and was happy to do so this time. Once I realised the dad and the spit roast were innocent I was a bit disappointed.
