If they did it would have broken several laws...

It's a co production between BBC:WW or BBC Studio's (who receive no money from the BBC but rather feed any profits back) and ITV studios.

It's a shame it's on Britbox as otherwise I would have given it a go, but I'm not subbing for a 4th streaming service (although 2 of those we sub to are mainly for other benefits), I used to love Spitting Image.

If I recall correctly they used to take the p out of everyone. Neil Kinnock was a regular for instance.

spitting image was very topical, though, so, they'll need to show it on tv , to help on return of investment, and, obtaining viewing figures that justify advertisers money,
who has control over editorial content too.
