splinter cell 4

It's tarting to really get on my nerves atm. The fact saves don't save is really annoying and I'm getting crashes and audio glitches. It's become a chore to play. i might buy CT to see what the SC series is about. :D

Stuck on decrypting the email at the moment, and Im really good at sudoku :P

Go figure that one out. :/

Also, the last level I completed, the Cruise ship, ran the worst of the game so far. It doesnt even look good and yet it runs like this? Very poor.

Id say youd do well to pick up CT it is far superior to this.

i completed the game earlier, overall i thought it was pretty good

the bugs were annoying but still the gameplay made it more enjoyable for me
performance was pretty good too, after i sussed out how to get SLI working with it  (i just used the chaos theory profile in the drivers)

but still, double agent was good but imo chaos theory is still the best SC game so far

I just tried the demo and had some "interesting" graphical glitches. I'm running an 1800XT with ATI Tools. I have my AA and AF set to 6 and 8 respectively. Having skimmed this thread it seems I need to turn the AA/AF to the application preference? Does this sound about right?

I just bruteforce it - just keep going till you get a blank number and goto next square, worked for me.

Any reason?

I played the demo and have been checking player feedback on the forums and from what I have heard it is very short with not that many environments. I am not prepared anymore to pay full price for short games unless they are spectacular (I don't pirate), so I will probably wait till it is on budget.

If it is short and there arnt many environments why does it take up over 10 gb of space. Id say to anyone thinking of getting this not to bother. Its pretty much unplayable for me. I thought Boiling Point was buggy but this feels half finished to me. There better be some good patches for it and soon.

What, buggier than Boiling Point - I did not think that was possible.

Well I could actually play boiling point although I only played for about an hour before I realised I hated it and quickly sold it.

vid i did of the second NSA mission. i know there is loads of aliasing but i recorded the vid at 640 x 480 to get a constant 30fps :)

I suggest you watch your language and attitude in future, as after somebody suggests you edit your post, they are giving you good advise, especially when there's swearies in there. Avoiding laziness and editing your posts can save you from suspension when a don does come along.

DaveyD. Just to let you know, i didn't ignore that person's advice, i thanked him and said i'd see if an admin would edit it. Personally i didn't think it was bad enough to mod, but i was wrong and was banned for 48 hours. Its no biggie, i've since read the rules and am now allowed back in the playground. It was simply misunderstood on my part, the rules are a lot stricter than most forums i use.
I'm certainly not the only one who rants, so i don't think there's anything wrong with my attitude.
We live and learn mate, and i'm just one of the many. :)

temps seem pretty normal on cpu and gfx. gfx isnt overclocked either and has been giving me no problem in any other games. strange on this, maybe new drivers would help?

We are not here to clearn up your mess though, and not editing it was clearly just laziness. All we ask is you fully star out any swearing, not too hard really.
