Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer Demo on Marketplace

EDIT: Forgot to mention, about once a minute the game would freeze for a few seconds before continuing... like a PC game when you don't have enough ram or something... not good.

Didnt have that problem in the few games I played

In one way Iw anted to hear that, in another I really didn't. Will play some more matches to see if it continues. I really hope its not my box playing up :(

Hadn't a clue what I was doing. I realised this when I blew myself up with a grenade seconds into my first game. It was too dark so I'll wait until tonight to properly play this :)

Dont like it. Very boring multiplayer game, seen it all before, and to top it all off the graphics look like something on the normal xbox, even on HD.

Awfull, i hope the single player is better.

No offence, but did you play the same game I did? The graphics were lovely.

Just had another few games and am really loving this now. i suggest reading the hand on at IGn to understand what to do before you play - it makes it much more fun. And top top it off, I had no more lag / freezes :)

Apart from the constant kicking from Co-op missions, the lag from most of the VS games, and the pretty poor explanation of in-game instructions, this demo is ok.

I would much rather have waited for a decent MP demo after release of the full game than have a half-done version before release. It's kind of dissappointing that the Friends part of the demo is not enabled as the constant kicking from games as people try to wait for a mate to join is just so damn annoying :(.

I've had several freezes from this demo (much more than any other demo/game) and when I do find a game that people don't kick me from, it's a bit of a lag fest at times.

I've got the full game on pre-order, but god help me if the multiplayer is anything like this demo then the singleplayer side of things better be bloody good.

I have to say I've had no lag whatsoever. The kicking is incredibly annoying though and often the "Searching for games" screen goes on indefinately and never joins a game, forcing you to totally quit the demo and reload it.

Multiplayers kind of confusing, basically as a spy and as a guard i spent all my time runnin about like a headless chicken with no clue what to do. As for graphics...yet another 360 game with no antialiasing...Peter Moore needs to remove foot from mouth methinks.

I had the same issue.. COOP was quite fun though. I just hope the final game has a proper coop mode like the SP as they had in Chaos Theory. That was my Fav bit.

i hear that the final game the 1st level is based on last gen graphics then on the start of the 2nd level is goes all next gen, or so they say

That would be a pretty weird thing to do, some people would buy the game, see the outdated graphics and promptly return it.

You cant really see that much on the first level its really dark! Played it over the weekend, seems a good game so far, i played through the first few levels.

And before anyone asks I have a friend who works in the games industry.

Paul ...

Played the multiplayer demo, seemed complete tosh although I wont be buying this for the multiplayer aspect. Single player is what Splinter Cell is all about. Unfortunately Im on a non spending mission, so doubt Ill be getting it for a bit.

the demo is complete tosh, cant see a bloody thing on the 1st level, you sit waiting in the lobbys for weeks.

err hope the single player is better

single player is a lot better. i did the first level and remember thinking, this looks like an old xbox game. onto the second level and i said to myself "this is more like it..."

the gfx suddenly got next gen. fun game, really feel like james bond at times

not tried multiplayer cos no one is around to play
