Split Second Demo IS OUT!!!

It's basically driving round a track, with bang-whizz explosions going on around you, no real feeling of speed/weight to the cars and a kind of lame PGR points system that does very little to the opponent cars. I was hoping this would hark back to the NFS Hot Pursuit days of gameplay... Sadly not.
 
S'ok, bit slow paced to what I expected though and the car feels like a tank.

That's both Blur and this that I was looking forward to that have disappointed (based on the demos) :/
 
This just doesn't feel right, I was expecting a Burnout esque experience but it just feels slow and uninvolving :(
 
Hated this at first, and after checking all opinions on this thread decided I was right, but after checking neogaf forums, and finding some people like it, decided to give it another go, and it does have lots of promise. I really feel though that this game needs the 60fps smoothness that games like Burnout provide, so I am hoping that the PC version will unlock the true potential of the game when running at 60fps.. Bring on the PC demo to see.

This game has some awesome moments, like setting off the jumbo down the airstrip, but it's the smoothness that is stopping it from shining.

Perhaps more a limitation of the 360 rather than the game itself with this one.
 
its got potential, it needs to be faster for a start.
also when your leading you have literally no defense so your open to attack, that i feel is a big flaw.

i get the idea its kinda like a mw2 kill streak system but i think it could be better implemented then what they have in the demo.

I didn't think much of it. Reading the title I thought this had missed my radar, but now I see why.

Deleted it after my first go.
