BeatMaster :D

I blame Arsenal's pitch. I....It's too small........Teams just went there and sat back so Arsenal dropped important points. If the pitch was bigger, they would have won the title by Christmas :p hehe.

Just practicing my excuses for use against United fans hehe. Crap I know, but its all Arsenal have.

It is true though, United didn't win it, Arsenal lost it :p hehe

Well done the mancs, their recent form has been sensational, i spose the defeat in the worthy cup must have spurred them on:D

No seriously, rvn and scholes on form has been the key.

Congrats:)

RVN should have won the PFA award....no doubt.

He is the best striker in this country by far. His work rate and desire to win is unbelievable. He wanted this title badly to pay for his hard work this season. He got his just rewards now :D

The PFA awards should be held after the end of season.

I dont think there wqas any disputing that Everton were not going to allow it.

what theys aid was that they could have the presentation but only after there players had done a lap of honour etc and celebrated the end of there season.

seems fair enough to me TBH.

No the award is for the season. Ruud's work rate has only become noticeable in the last 10 games which is when he has scored most of his goals. Henry deserved it.

but it is voted for in january which really means yer voting for only half a season ;)

Which means that Ruud definately didn't deserve it as I bet he had a similar goal scoring record in the league to Tore Andre Flo around Christmas :p

If any Man United player deserved the award it was Scholes as he has been magnificent. The main reason for your title win I feel.

But again, Scholes wasn't great at the start of this season either, he's been on top form recently but thats all.

I think Giggs and Solskjaer have been the most consistent players for em this season, Giggs had a few early-season hiccups but thats all. Solskjaer has replaced Beckham on the RW. Not easy.

Just something I read today in the paper

"Everton have been forced to climb down in a row with the Premier League over the possibility of Manchester United being presented with the trophy at Goodison next week"

"They feared the bitter rivalry between Merseyside and Manchester could trigger crowd trouble"

From Sunday Express

Which is why Henry has won it - he has been magnificent for Arsenal and consistently scored goals all season. That is why I think he deserved it anyway. His form hasn't been in patches. Either him of Vieira anyways.

Couldn't disagree more about Giggs. What has been consistent about him is his poor performances, until of course this run at the end of the season in which the entire Man United squad just seems to have found their game. Solskjaer though has been great for them consistently.

I would have thought Everton would be delighted to have the Premiership title at Goodison for the day :p

hmm interesting FAz seems like there are conflicting stories floating around. ah well were CHAMPIONS thats all that really matters.

The only thing you can believe in the press is that you are the champions:)

Glad we beat Arsenal today to secure our premier league status

Leave it guys. Whats happened has happened. It looked at one point like Arsenal were going to win it, but they failed to pick up the necessary points whereas manyoo didn't fail to. Thats it, simple as.

NO-one 'lost' it because until today no-one HAD it, unless you're talking about last season. Which we weren't.

It wasn't theres to lose ;)

nobody lost the title this year at the end of the day the two teams gave it there all, peaking at different times of the season leading to different positions in the league at different times.

Last Year Arsenal Won the Premier League

This Year Man Utd Won the Premier League

Next year should be interesting.
