Spoilers Ahoy!!! Football 22 - Jan 2011

SAF was joking yesterday in an interview that no one would know if Rafael played in Fabio's shirt

Dont think its actually possible to tell which one is which, but I highly doubt SAF would ever do it (and after all Utd wouldnt want Fabio disadvantaged, especially from this kind of game imo)

There's difference in their faces. Just up at villa park now but just as an aside vidic's celebration at the villa wasn't a yellow card by the rules. Haven't seen piquionnes. Great performance from us today, just need to sort our away form now

Did vidic actually go into the crowd?

I honestly cant remember (I do recall Utd were VERY lucky to get away with a point in that game though)

Gerrard takes liberties as Captain......so does Utd's (:D:D)

He stopped before the crowd then other players pushed him in.

Oh well looks like it will stay 2-0 by the looks of it...cant see Arsenal getting a 3rd...wish they would somehow get some semblance of a killer instinct in front of goal.

Still 2-0 not bad...happy with the 3 pts.

Lol oh looks like I spoke too soon haha....3-0 with RVP getting a much deserved hattrick....great stuff and another 3 pts bagged :D

Very worried about a Villa/Bent resurgence today. Thankfully I've been awake for 24 hours and am heavily jetlagged, so hopefully I can crash out and save myself the worry until tomorrow.

Our final ball has been dreadfull for a while now. I don't understand our current fascination with trying to walk the ball through a packed central area!

Going through Arsenal syndrome, buy lots of small wingers who want to cut inside and run with the ball rather than pass = thats how they'll play. Buy wingers who prefer to cross, and thats what they'll do.

Playing 5 midfielders, because thats what VDV is, and all fairly small and run with the ball types and a single midget striker and you're really asking for that exact type of performance. Its not necessarily a bad thing, theres no right way to play football but against a physical Newcastle or a very strong Utd defence and it will cause problems. Then having someone as utterly crap as Crouch to fall back on won't help, I've no idea how he does it, his whole career has been based on, he's really really big so he MIGHT prove useful.

Spurs could have, and in this years league most certainly should have been right up there, Chelsea and Utd were 6 points just begging to be taken, two woeful performances from those two teams and Spurs take away 2 draws.

Berbatov was brilliant again today, do Utd fans still think he's a waste of money and not very good, 3 goals, won the ball with a, :o , tackle, played the right ball and Rooney played Giggs in for essentially a tap in.

Van persie, awful penalty, couple really nice finishes, great game.

Theo, just really really poor shooting is embarassing, the one touch around the keeper for his best chance made the angle tight, but it wasn't that tight and he blasted it miles behind the goal rather than hitting the post/side netting. Stream kept going down though so didn't catch all of it. Fabregas got hacked down a lot, which seems to be a running theme on trying to contain Arsenal by other teams.

West Ham, just their luck really, still picking up points is better than not doing so.

Berba's tackle was awesome, he just sort of lay on the floor in a tactical position :p

edit: his general play was phenomenal too, he was just a class above. Nani was good but utterly wasteful the majority of the time.
