Our final ball has been dreadfull for a while now. I don't understand our current fascination with trying to walk the ball through a packed central area!
Going through Arsenal syndrome, buy lots of small wingers who want to cut inside and run with the ball rather than pass = thats how they'll play. Buy wingers who prefer to cross, and thats what they'll do.
Playing 5 midfielders, because thats what VDV is, and all fairly small and run with the ball types and a single midget striker and you're really asking for that exact type of performance. Its not necessarily a bad thing, theres no right way to play football but against a physical Newcastle or a very strong Utd defence and it will cause problems. Then having someone as utterly crap as Crouch to fall back on won't help, I've no idea how he does it, his whole career has been based on, he's really really big so he MIGHT prove useful.
Spurs could have, and in this years league most certainly should have been right up there, Chelsea and Utd were 6 points just begging to be taken, two woeful performances from those two teams and Spurs take away 2 draws.
Berbatov was brilliant again today, do Utd fans still think he's a waste of money and not very good, 3 goals, won the ball with a,

, tackle, played the right ball and Rooney played Giggs in for essentially a tap in.
Van persie, awful penalty, couple really nice finishes, great game.
Theo, just really really poor shooting is embarassing, the one touch around the keeper for his best chance made the angle tight, but it wasn't that tight and he blasted it miles behind the goal rather than hitting the post/side netting. Stream kept going down though so didn't catch all of it. Fabregas got hacked down a lot, which seems to be a running theme on trying to contain Arsenal by other teams.
West Ham, just their luck really, still picking up points is better than not doing so.
