**SPOILERS** Football 26th Feb - 2nd Mar 2011

Horrendous refereeing throughout.

He actually wasn't, that was a yellow.
I just meant rolling around on the ground, but as I said before I don't blame Rooney for doing it as it's been repeatedly proven it's the only way to get some referees to actually do their job.

Didnt this same thing happen last year? Play really well and come away with nothing, not quite the same as playing terribly and coming away with everything :o

So we go from Chelsea escaping being a man down solely due to bad refereeing, and then get a goal handed to them due to... guess what.

Not sure it was a pen but it wasn't a dive. It was a coming together and tbf to the ref on that decision, it was a tough decision not to give.

It was a clear dive, Smalling is just standing still, doesn't even try to tackle him and Zhirkov drags his feet and throws himself to the ground.

He took a goal away from them in the first half so he's evened things out ;)
You mean when the whistle went and ten seconds later Van Der Sar let the ball bounce over his head so he could collect it in the net easier? Not quite Torres rifling the ball into the top corner and the whistle going while the ball is in mid-air, is it? ;)

From the refs position it was hard to tell. But as far as I knew you had to be 100% positive to give a penalty..

Just shocking.

It was a clear dive, Smalling is just standing still, doesn't even try to tackle him and Zhirkov drags his feet and throws himself to the ground.

Zhirkov's instinctively ran onto the loose ball and Smalling's leg was outstretched from his previous challenge. Smalling didn't challenge Zhirkov but his leg did impede Zhirkov's run. It could have gone either way imo.
