***SPOILERS***(Real) Football 01-05 Apr 2010/2011

Every time i see Soto on pitch for us i always fear a pen will occur and it has the last 3 times he has played oddly 3times a pen has happened, Europa league and today twice
 
I see a stat few weeks ago that Spurs strikers were one of the worst in the league regarding % of goals scored for the team. Bottom three I believe they were.

And a referee who isn't Webb, Atkinson or Mason in the league, Dowd had a shocker not sending Carra off either, maybe we just need some ****ing challenge system like the NFL.

Pathetic that, first penalty wasn't one, Soto fouled for the second even though he was crap anyways and Reina going for a leg sweep on odindingie.

We weren't great, but robbed.

If a player is going to foul you and you dive over them, like not to save yourself but rather dive and had you continued your normal running path it would have been a foul is it still given a foul? Odingdingiewingy wanted to make sure he got that peno off Reina.

Really tired/lifeless performance from us today. Started well enough and should have goen ahead inside the first 15mins but after that we lost our footing in the game. Other than from corners or Suarez creating something out of nothing, we didn't look a threat. Can't have too many complaints about the first pen, Soto got the ball but he's also scissored the WBA player with his trailing leg. The 2nd pen look ridiculous though but I only saw it once so I'll wait til I see a replay.

Had the WBA not dived for the second penalty it was one, but he decided he'd dive just incase he could step over Reina's legs, was pretty poor.

Brunt can fairly hit a peno though.

From what I saw, he was going down before any contact, in which case it's a dive.

No problem with a player not avoiding the contact but at least wait until there is contact before going to ground.

Mate, the muppets in charge of refereeing and football in general would never let something so obvious into the game. Look at every other sport and they allow referrals to a video umpire and yet football always comes up with some excuse.

Other sports realise that referees are not perfect and that to have any faith in referees, you must have a system to help them out when they are not sure which decision is correct.

Cricket, tennis, rugby, they all use it and it adds massively to the game. The tense wait to see what the decision is, the excitement when the decision is given. Any no-one can argue whether it was right or wrong. Their claims that we dont have the technology are BS im afraid.
