***SPOILERS***(Real) Football 01-05 Apr 2010/2011

I quite like playing it, but watching it is like watching paint dry :(

Plus, are you Indian? :p

British Indian, so born and raised here but my roots are elsewhere if that makes any sense.

Support England first, even in the cricket, but if they're not playing then India. If it's England vs. India then ...well..not sure.

Edit - not in the football. For various reasons I generally couldn't give a toss though.

From reading the live text it seems Adebayour should have scored at least two or three times in the last 10 mins :p

Good saves from the keeper, but it should be said you can never rely on Adebayor.

Perhaps finally he's realising he's not that good after all. The guy's lazy and crap.

General question:

If we have more than one ball in football games, i.e. there's one on the pitch and the ball boys usually have a few extra circulating around, why do referees still make a point to collect just the one on the pitch at ht/ft?

Best game of the weekend so far.

Napoli 4-3 Lazio.

Amazing game, end to end, really good skills, very little simulation (). Lazio 0-2 up. Then 2-2 in a few minutes, followed by an og for 2-3, a penalty and a red for 3-3 and now 4-3.

It was because Essien isn't that type of player, probably made everything ok by seeming upset afterwards, was just a bit late, didn't put any maliciousness into it, and can easily claim it was a 50/50.

Or something. Or one of those things.

err cos they're not ball boys?

i don't know if it's still the rule but apparently a club can choose whether they want one ball or multiple balls at a game. most (if not all) choose multiple because of the obvious advantage of keeping the flow. there was an instance a few years back when everton were beating man utd and the game was nearly over and moyes instructed the ball boys to give all the balls back to the dugout, leaving just the one ball in current play available and it getting hoofed into row z by everton at every occassion.

I meant err, why when there are many balls used throughout a game, the refs still sometimes make a point of collecting just the one.
