After installing I got the message that I need a compatible version of DX.

I have DX10 installed. How do I downgrade to 9?

you just need to install the latest runtime for both dx10 and 9, you can't ''remove'' dx10 but your dx9 is prolly outdated.

you need to install DX 9c. you don't downgrade you have both. This is one reason some people have rubbish fps in vista, because they don't know you need to install dx9 as well.

anyone else a bit disappointed? They biged up all the procedural animation but all it seams to do is float the body and put the lowest body part on the floor, ie slug with arms pointing down magically flies as the arms sit on the floor.

Are the graphics turned down for the creature creator or have they just suddenly become really pants? This game looks like its going to be more of a let down by the minute

The things in the background are just a 2d like stage background around the creature your making.

Use the mousewheel on the parts you want to make bigger.
