Bleh. I think some of the stuff they've put into this is truly impressive. If you want to design a creature in 100% sandbox style, go play with MS paint.
it's just no what they advertised it as for example if you make a creature with massive shins it bends them anyway as if they have 2 sets of knees to make it walk, sitting results in anything low hanging just glitching through the floor.
I think it will still be brilliant and like the sims it should have a few follow ups in which to improve things. After all it is a unique game at the moment.
You can increase the size of parts if you select the parts in between the balls. It depends on the parts whether it will make them more muscly or not I believe.

Its pretty easy to use limbs as spine parts, although you are limited in where you place the parts on those limbs. It is a bit dissapointing they stuck with verebrate type bodies, I wanted insects or crustaceans. But I wont complain, it is pretty amazing the amount of freedom you do have with it and that it is able to animate it in a plausible way.
