i thought this was delayed indefinately...

Just found out it's due for release in less than 4 months... :eek:

Well original release dates were over a year ago.... I actually pre orderred for a delivery date of march 06 ...
 
It's definitely gonna come out.. this is one of Will Wrights little love childs.. It's just taking a little longer to squeeze out then most because he wants it to be perfect. I have no problem with that. Too many games nowadays are rushed to meet a deadline. I think only Will Wright has the power and the guts to take on EA when they give him a deadline :p
 
I think it's taking longer to come out because EA want's it to be much simpler so anyone can "play" it. Quotes because it's looking very light on gameplay.

I was looking forward to the original concept but now it just seems way too basic. Very light on RTS and you'll be going from amoeba to space in roughly 5 hours, seeing all the games features in that short period of time.

Very dissapointing. I'm sure it will sell like the Sims though.
 
I think it was always part of the concept that the game should be very accessible. Most of the time has probably been spent devising and tweaking a way to make your creature without it being too complicated. Not an easy task.
 
Let's hope for a realistic time length option. Something like Civ4. I always play at the second longest. Tried the longest but that took too long even for me!
 
Really hope it comes out on the date stated at the moment, been waiting ages for this!

Would be annoyed tohugh if it was 5hours from amoeba to space though!
 
I'm going to make my creatures look like Mario and run around because the worlds remind me of Mario Galaxy (or should that be the other way around?)
