For me it has to be Andy Murray. Dragged GB through to win the Davis Cup, never looked like losing a match and beat some tough teams along the way.

A bunch of no hopers but obviously excelled in their own sport, would never have a chance though as they aren't popular enough sports.

Personally i'd like peaty to win

To go sub 58 secs in the breaststroke and pull back the world and Olympic champion to do it was immense

Sadly he wont even come top 3 due to the sports popularity

Jess Ennis-Hill got the best reception from the crowd and I'd love to see her win after dropping a baby a few months previous to her gold.

Love Murray but GBs path to the final was made so much easier with so many of the biggest names dropping out to focus on the Grand Slams. Team GB should be a certainty for team of the year though

Hmm, Mo didn't come to the venue either. Is someone who can't walk up to the stage likely to win the SPOTY? I mean it's only exciting when the winner is actually there. Looking more likely that Andy Murray will win it.
