In today's culture you can't afford to get too involved for fear of getting stabbed or,if not, then arrested yourself. But at least the guy had the presence of mind to film him and post it on Youtube.
 
I would have simply beaten the guy to the phone. Then again it's an iPhone, which aren't simply worth stealing due to them being ****.

I would've lost my rag ages ago and grabbed the phone :(
 
i bet she wasnt hot or someone would have made the effort to secure her bag and make sure she was alright and then maybe taken her back to their place and gave her a good rogering ! her knight in latex rubber!
 
I feel somewhat guilty for finding that so damn funny, the guy videoing gets so hacked off.

Actually after looking at his blog its Matt Parker, the stand up mathematician whose appeared on infinite monkey cage... that's where I knew the voice from :)
 
The accents more Australian than South African.

Edit: It's Matt Parker, he was on Radio4 this morning talking about maths.

Though I agree he does have one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard
