Spotify and Windows Surface

Hi

Ive brought my parents a tablet running windows 8.1 for Christmas, one of the primary uses was to run Spotify Premium via Bluetooth to their hifi, however being used to android I didn't appreciate there would be no surface app for windows.

Does anyone know what the best option is for running Spotify, web player won't run in the background or support hi quality stream, the windows app is almost unusable on a tablet as it doesn't support touch gestures, and the spotlite app from the store is amateur and full of adverts.

Is windows metro really without a good option for Spotify?

As for your question, it really does seem like there isn't a suitable way to run spotify on a small Windows 8.1 tablet.

Thanks, spotilite seems the best option, just not as slick as the official Spotify app. Nevermind...

It is odd that there is no proper app for it as the one on my Windows Phone is excellent.
