SPOTIFY ! it's awesome

Just heard about spotify through a friend , this isn't a shameless plug I just wanted to share it with you guys if you havent heard of it already.

It's basically a small program that allows you to stream virtually any song imaginable from an external server with no need to download them to your hard drive.

You can save playlists and artists to your bookmarks so they are easily available whenever you log in and best of all it's free.

You can have a paid for version without the occasional audio ads but to be honest there arent many anyway. The paid for version also gives you a higher bitrate.

The homepage is so minimal it gives the impression that there's nothing behind the signup.

Used it a while and the ads just don't bother me. Absolutely PERFECT for home use, don't have a need to go Pro as it's just played through my laptop speakers anyway.

Do you have to be such an unsufferable bore ? I'm just trying to share it with as many people as possible as I think it's brilliant.

I use it to find music rather than as a music player and love it, I've found so many bands with it.

I HATE the adds though but I refuse to pay over £120 a year to get rid of them.

It is good. Its a pitty they charge so much for the app per month on the iPhone. £10 a month isn't it?

Not sure , I'm not an iphone fan. It's out for mobiles with "android" whatever that is ??? too

Not too bad on my PC , I use SRS audio sandbox with my JBL 2.1'S and it's pretty good after a bit of tweaking.

Never had a problem with the sound quality, it's OGG and in my opinion sounds better than a great deal of mp3s out there. This is listened to through PC speakers and an amp/floorstanding setup at high volumes.

Media Gurus, i think my mum knows about spotify

Joking mate, it is indeed a good program. I like downloading people playlists from the various spotify playlist sites across the net and finding new songs.
