Spotify 'Shockwaves' advert... RAGE!!!

Arrrrrrgghhh!!

Been listening to Spotify most of the weekend and this morning while working and I've been bombarded the whole time by just the one advert.

John Culshaw, using varying unfunny accents, reading a similar unfunny script every ten minutes is enough to send the most stable person mental. Guantanamo was more humane than this :(

I can't be the only one this is annoying?

INB4 upgrade to premium - I would but the don't have any Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, ACDC or Oasis - amongst others, and until then they ain't getting squat.

I'd rather listen to and/or(!) buy only the tracks in an album I like instead of paying £15+ for the entire album them ripping only the best tracks :p
 
I quite liked the early adverts from Shockwave, now they get annoying, the Burger King was funny too and gone now, and the domestic abuse ads burst me out laughing, would someone really ''stop himself'' after hearing that ?

I would get so annoyed at that, there is some kind of moron who spends money on those ads.
 
I've just been getting the Shockwave ads too over the past few days, quite annoying. I think Matt Lucas does one of the voices too.

I just can't stand ads that try to be funny. I find the 'matter of fact' ones, like the Oxfam ones, far less offensive.

Meh, I tend to listen to music by full album at a time :), none of this fancy custom playlist stuff
 
The tapping on glass sound effect at the start of some (all?) of the Shockwaves adverts keep briefly fooling me in to thinking Tool - Eulogy has come on!
 
*Shudder*

I've resorted to taking my headphones off when these ad's start. Hitting the mute button doesn't cut it, as the ad just pauses, and waits for the sound to be turned back on.

Those adverts really annoy me. I listen to classical music on Spotify a lot and it seems to give me this advert after every track. It's even worse when it is twice as loud as the music I was listening to.
