Just wondering has anyone ever tried this, either to tint a window or to black out rear lights?

Is it any good or totally useless?

Well unless you mask the whole of the interior its going to be messy lol and whats the chances of it ending up A - Legal. B - Even?

Lol yeah thats what I was wondering. Its not actually to tint the windows though, I wanted to black out my rear lights abit. Hmm I might buy it to test out on a mates car first :p

yeah deffo dont be doing windows lol

taillights are ok

u have to have a red reflecter on the back by law

so dont completly tint them or u will get hassle from the fuzz and it wont pass a mot

on my cluster i just tinted the indicators and left the rest looks good

i will be more than happy to try the spray stuff on my van rear windows if you want to donate a can. in the name of research :P

Lights: fine, but just be aware that it will dim the lights right down and people are unobservant enough these days without you half hiding your lights from them.

Windows: think about it this way, when you spray a coat of paint out of a can it looks streaky until you lay up a few coats to hide it. If you imagine this on glass it's going to look very inconsistent when you look through it, all streaky and patchy.
