I need to complete an assignment which requires the above software, I can't get into university to use it and asking here, I obviously have a mac.

I've had a browse and it appears there's absolutely no OSX release of SQL management by Microsoft, could anyone provide any ideas or solutions?

The assignments would have to be submitted in the appropriate formats so I'm not sure if there's an OSX equivalent that would be up to the challenge?

Thanks.

what specificly do you need to use SQL management studio for ?

You can use third party solutions to write T-SQL scripts, and you can use third party solutions to connect to microsoft SQL servers. WHat advice we give you will depend upon what you want to do with management studio.

For the assignment I need to create an SQL database to store case study data, database queries, entity relationship modelling, relational schemas, data dictionaries etc etc

the best way would be to use parallels to run it. I would consider it worth the cost if there is going to be a lot of use of this program in the course.

Would make following instructions from others easier too.

I have parallels but it's chaotic to run, slows my machine far too much and drives me insane before long however this may be the only option, I was just hoping for other alternatives. :) Thanks, though.
