.sqm files

Hi,

I've just gone into my C:\ Drive and noticed a load of .sqm files, 40 in total. Some are named sqmdata00.sqm and some are sqmnoopt00.sqm with 00 being a number :confused:

Anybody have any idea that they are? Are they supposed to be there?

IIRC there associted with Windows Live Messeger.

Well they were for me.

Do you have the new one (8?) installed?

I've also noticed now that when I open outlook and do a send/receive it palces two of them there- one of each name...

So are they fine then and nothing to worry about? Am I okay to clear them out- don't like the cluttering my C:\

Yeah there fine to delete, stands for 'Service Quality Monitor'.

General MS rubbish.

They are linked with WLM, but if I remember rightly only beta versions build those files (and possibly also if you click the customer improvement stuff). I don't have any laying about now, but I did before my format (which was during the WLM beta).
