Thread not about that knob on CB radios? Thought you might be setting up a group of "Squelchers", a group who might actually know what the knob actually did. I would have tried to infiltrate that of off chance of the secret being revealed. But its about stickers or some such?

I had heard CB radio was mainly used for getting your knob squelched back in them days anyway. Much like Tinder or whatever it is nowadays. Maybe the squelch knob was actually used to positively confirm that intent in the 2 way communication to avoid disappointment.

No idea, i used the squelch knob when a person with the handle "the devil" was harrasing me
