Half way through and I thought it was fine giving me the same experience as the first season. Some of the scenes have so much pressure, release, elation and tragedy. Shows the greed in human nature.

Found myself skipping a fair bit of episodes, as it was the same as before. Such as the voting scenes (too long imo) and some of the backstories.

Was also a bit gutted that the last episode ended, and I planned to watch the ‘next episode’ the day after, only then realising that the season had finished! The whole season just felt like a big set up for S3 (which I get is how a lot of TV is, but this didnt really feel like it had an ending).

Hearing the soundtrack again was great, forgot how good it was. Liked it for the most part but this felt more like a setup for the 'final' show down in s3 rather than it's own thing.

Was good seeing games from a side of knowing what was going to happen already.

One thing to note is if your epileptic some of the scenes in this really go hard with flashing lights to the point it was getting distracting and I don't suffer from it.

This was a chore to sit through.
I was expecting a twist at the end which would finish the current show but leave it open. What I got was a horrible abrupt ending which left me feeling like I couldn't handle another six episodes.

"It would be boring to win everything fast" says one of our guys to the rest of his team mates, as they continue to fail part
of a timed task, the results of which, they may all be shot. Too funny.

Tip: turn your TV down a little, it'll help drown out all the whinging, whinning bit players that seem to populate these Asian movies/shows.

Only watched the first 2 episodes but I have to say… that’s some ‘interesting strategy’ used by the players of the rock paper scissors game :o

Rock Paper scissors minus 1.

Never heard of it before but it made sense.

The boss sacrificed himself for his employee

Yes, the boss sacrificed himself.

I was referring to the fact that you should never, ever, ever pick two of the same as you greatly increase the chances of losing. So the ‘survivor’ was a total moron regardless of the intentions of the ‘boss’.

If we were playing and you picked two rocks, you would be totally ****ed if I chose just one paper, as I’d go with that as my final choice.

Not 100% sure if your comment was aimed at me but if so hopefully that clarifies!

You knew he was a moron before hand though.

Anyway, i’ve just finished ep 4, it’s ok, i’m on the fence so far though.

I’ll finish it tonight though.

I assumed the guy picking two rocks was just something that might happen under the pressure of a situation like that, as much as it was stupid.

Just finished S2 and I really enjoyed it - it was going to be a challenge after the novelty of S1 but I think they have done well to make it feel relatively fresh, and the new characters are good.

The guy that plays The Front Man/001 is brilliant so it’s been good to see him in a bigger role this season. Lots of good social commentary about the broken system - I thought the split vote said a lot about the current state of politics and the non existent common ground. The line about trying to end the game with a gun in Ep2 was pretty topical after the United Healthcare shooting.

Enjoyed it overall as like a few have said it's so close to the first but with some notable and nice changes. Agree with the above saying it felt like S2 PT1 mind

Because that's literally the point. I feel like the only people who can't see that are the people who'd think of themselves as Rambo when **** hits the fan :p. I don't think the boss necessarily sacrificed himself either, he just couldn't bring himself to take advantage of the colossal **** up of someone he probably considered a friend, a fitting end/redemption for a loan shark, an honourable death. The scared guy picking scissors in the 3rd game when the short haired chick held out her hand is supposed to parallel that in the opposite way. A coward throwing a friend to the wolves to save himself.

I enjoyed season 2, although it does feel more like a part one of the final season. More thoughts in spoilers:

Liked the new characters, thought they were all well identified, didn't get confused between any of them or anything. Young-mi's death was a great moment.
I thought the first episodes were good, and the guy playing the recruiter was fantastic. It's just a shame we knew where it was going because we knew he got back in. I'm glad they changed the games, was concerned that they were going to repeat the games but the fakeout with the dream was clever. I thought the new games were both pretty cool and a big improvement on the latter games in season 1. Having the front man in the game was a cool twist and played well with the votes to continue. I think the 'outside' story with the rest of his team and the fisherman was much weaker than the cop story from season one, but obviously it isn't over yet so maybe it will step up.
