First shot is fantastic - I dont usually like saying that because it is far too easily dished out by some people but that is a really nice shot. DoF isolates the subject from the BG well, strong composition and really good detail / sharpness. My only gripe is the relection of you in its eye, but that really is only a minor distraction.

Im not a fan of the second.

Third shot would have been the best of the bunch if you had nailed the focussing bang on the eye with the same DoF as you have in that shot. Whether that was you aiming to focus on the ear or a gust of wind or movement from the squirrel I dont know but it spoils it for me. Everything else is there for a superb image but for the focussing to let it down :( It is also a bit noisy in the bokeh, something that I find really distracting...

Great captures in all :)

Great pictures!

What shutter speed / ISO?

If you use firefox install http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/fxif/ - then you can right click an image -> properties and view its exif.

For example, the last picture:

Camera Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Camera Model: NIKON D70
Image Date: 2006:04:26 18:01:04
Flash Used: No
Focal Length: 240.0mm (35mm equivalent: 360mm)
Exposure Time: 0.0050 s (1/200)
Aperture: f/4.0
White Balance: Auto
Metering Mode: Matrix
Exposure: Manual
Exposure Mode: Manual

thanks for the comments DRZ.

Im bit dissappionted with 3rd photo. But the way I had to compose myself out of the window and keep the gear steady at shutter speed of 200 @ 240mm was not bad.
I thought F4 would give me good crisp quality of the 1st squirrel.

I think there are 4 squirrels living in that hole. I'l try get better photo next time.
