Hey,

These were took with my 400D w/ Sigma 70-300mm. I had so many blurry and badly focused shots I was a little disappointed by them but here's a few of the ones that looked better which I Photoshopped quite a lot.

I.. erm.. used Sports mode for all of these (yeah im a bit of a newb at this) as they're fast little buggers :)

This one's a little soft/blurry so I had to sharpen it up a lot.

Didn't really know how to crop this one as I didn't manage to get it in the whole frame.

Too much on this edit?

Nice set of pictures. I like the last one where the squirrel is facing you. Reminds me of a shot in this months Pracical Photography.

A little off topic, is your lens the 'Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Macro DG'?

Have you ever tried some sports shots ? If so how does it perform, i need to get a lense similar to this.

Thanks

Nice shots! :)

I've been looking at the 70-300mm APO DG's too! Seem to be nice inexpensive lenses!

However, i'm tempted by the 170-500mm too TBH! Might be a little unwieldy but what are tripods for anyway! ;)

Stunning - never got round to posting the one's I took... No.2 is nice, but there are circle patterns in the background, which is a little distracting (possably by over-sharpening)

Here's one of the one's I took in June (if you don't mind?):
