Yep it can actually , and probably the first American car to ever corner good!, this car has beat the fastest record for the slalom test.

Emm... nah there is a lot of stigmatism around the american cars that people dont seem to see beyond.

The corvette Z06 is one of the best modern handling cars.

Round the nurburgring it beat some of the supposable best handling cars.

Need I remind you that in 1984 the Z51 Corvette could pull 1.03G on the skidpan.

To compare, a 2004 Ferrari Enzo pulls 1.01G......

Just in case anyone goes "Yea but that Z51 must have been some high end special order no doubt", around half of the '84 Corvettes were all Z51s, from the factory. It became optional after a while, so you could have softer 'standard' suspension (which would still pull about 0.94g on the skidpan, IIRC).
