SSD £0.85/Gb

I will admit to being tempted by a Kingston V+100 96Gb all except for the low 4k random reads and writes.

Using this as an OS drive will this have a huge impact? I will be replacing a Hitachi 1Tb drive with a 500Gb OS partition (135Gb currently in use).

Alternatively I could use this in my netbook if it does not work well in the desktop.

Any thoughts? It is cheap.

You get what you pay for with SSD's, your best bet would be to check reviews online for that particular one.

I saw that and had a ganders but i decided that i would go for what i knew works good and that is the crucial m4, a lot of people suggest them and i have heard that Kingston are not that great... well especially when they first brought out their SSD's
