SSD accelerator cache's

Anyone with one of the SSD accelerator cache disks - what level do they step in?
As in, do they ask you to choose the drive you want caching in windows or at a lower level (e.g they come with a bios of some kind or something).

The add-in SSDs like the Crucial Adrenaline or the OCZ Synapse, have Windows drivers that need to be installed.

The Intel RST can be set up straight from boot.
