So im thinking of upgrading to a SSD but im just looking for a little advice please.
I built my PC in 2011 and have one HDD its a WD 1TB Caviar Black, in all this time i have never got above 370gb, however my boot times are really slow now.
So im thinking of upgrading to a SSD and just cloning my HDD with the software that comes with this SSD

Things i would like to ask is i understand that this is a laptop kit but i like the USB to Sata cable that just lets my Clone the HDD and then just open my case and swap them out.
I have looked all over for a 500GB Desktop Kit but no luck, can any one confirm that this Kit will be ok for my Desktop (Minus the Bracket) as i don't want to buy this then find out something different when i get my hands on it.
