Thats what i thought , new technology ...can only get better and cheaper !!
Im not in any rush really so probably best to wait and see what happens over never 6 months ...also windows 7 will be out so be good time to upgrade to ssd :)

Im the same !!! lol like playing with new gadgets !! ..but think i will wait for the mo ...save my money as pc has cost me nearly £2k already !!
 
yes i know what you mean , ssd's are def faster than 2 hard drives in raid ....think i would rather wait till the price becomes a bit more sensible and the technology advances ...
The price per gig is ridiculous on ssd's at the moment ..
things can only get better !!
 
what about a- G.Skill Falcon 128GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (FM-25S2S-128GBF1)
how does that compare to the sammy one ??
 
ok , so best to get an ssd with trim ...which the sammy does not have ...got it !.
looks like the g-skills it is then ....
was not going to get one for a bit ,was going to wait for price to drop ...but you have all changed my mind !!!!!! lol

Some say would be good to get 2 64gb drives and raid 0 then , does it make that much difference ? i hate the long load up times that im having with raid 0 on my hard drives at moment , take about 10 secs just to load raid controller so thought be good to get an ssd and turn off raid so the system would boot up faster .
