Currently building a PC and looking for 500GB SSD, M.2-2280 drive would be a bonus are their any brands which I should avoid? I used to use Samsung but looking to save some money. I am looking for reliability not fused about super speeds

corsair mp510 is the best value, in price and in performance nvme ssd around currently (obviously not from ocuk - overpriced as usual when compared to other etailers)
i wouldn't touch the QLC nand drives (ie crucial p1 or intel 660p) - unless solely for static mass storage with minimal writes.

Was looking at the 660P.. I think i might just get 250GB m.2 drive and hardrive games are so big these days 500gb ssd will fill up in no time.

can't really recommend getting smaller than a 500 gb class ssd these days. much less pairing a 250gb ssd with a hdd for games! that's the worst combination ever.
the lag spikes from texture loads/load times on a hdd when gaming would make me jump off a building and commit suicide.

Haven't decided on budget i suck when trying to keep budget wasn't meant to build a PC until September... lets say £60 for 500 gb? I will be getting the MSI B450M Tomahawk max which supports M.2, I will be gaming and using Blender, solid works
 
I found Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 for £55.52, Crucial MX500 500 GB M.2-2280 for £60 whats the difference between M+B and M? Will i need to buy a heat sink for the it?
