ssd and 680i mb

Hi

After a bit of looking I am a little confused as to whether a 680i motherboard will work with a SSD

I have Asus P5N32-SLI board, there does not appear to be an ACHI mode to choose in the bios, There are several conflicting stories, some say doesn't work, others say turn raid on and some say works but just not in RAID

So my question is has anyone here got an SSD on a 680i board up and working ok?

I Plan on using Intel 80gb or the ocz2e 60gb, not so fussed about the price difference as it 30th present to myself.

for those that need to know in the future.

This works fine

No AHCI on board but TRIM works and i get nearly 200mb/s read so happy with that.

Went for the vertex 2e 60gb in the end.
