I'm interested in these SSD's now they seem more settled and the firmware has iimproved however how does everyone mamage their SSD's and gaming.

Suppose I were to buy a 60GB. I'd imagine I'd have to fresh install windows and all my games since my current 500GB is 1/2 full and doesn't contain much data.

Do you generally only put your fav games on them? If so how do you manage the games (uninstall/reinstall etc?) as most if not all my future games will be via STEAM thus in the one location.

Also are their any problems with filling these drives to the brim in terms of slowdown or since they are solid state the data can be referenced instantly so no slow down even for full drives?

You can have a folder on the sdd with your favourite games and the rest of your games on your old HDD.

google "steam folder on ssd"

Several articles explainging how to use sym-links to achieve this.

I have heard that using up a SSD does decrease performance but that with where TRIM/wear leveling come in? If i was to buy one in your case i would get a 120GB or the OCZ 90GB one; not that much more but the extra space could do wonders

Single best decision i have made in the past 2 years was to do exactly this :p
I have not experienced any slow down in real world usage even when I have taken my 60gb drives to within 1gb of capacity. I am sure benchmarks could prove me wrong but it is still so fast I cant say I have noticed any drop in performance.

Also, I do agree with Solidsnake, it is worth getting the larger ones. Even if it takes a few months extra saving.
My 60bg Ocz holds win7, all the usual browser addons and about 3-4 of my steam games +Warcraft.
