Hi Guys. .a few months back i purchased this from OCuk

Ultima 9300i Prism" Intel 4.20GHz Quad Core System
OCZ Agility 3 120GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive (AGT3-25SAT3-120G)
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-Bit
HIS HD 6950 IceQ X PLUS Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
CM Storm Trooper Full Tower Gaming Case

So, I have the 120gbSSD with windows and the heavy graphics software I use and with a few games, BF3 FSX etc. . suddenly all that space has gone. the 500gb HDD Really needs to be bigger for my uses. Mainly storage of very large photographs shoots. I shoot 50gb a pop plus converted to Tiffs etc so again that stoarge on the 500gb gets used quickly.

Im after a a HDD 2TB that will be used for main storage and the 500gb alreday there ill use solely for FSX simulator or is that best to once again to pop that onto a SSD 120gb?

Now im sort of guessing i will have enough power from the kit I already have to slip in? the HD and perhaps new SSD.

Also, can someone also explain to me on my stormtrooper case I have an X dock ( someone said its for a SSD to litterally slot in - is this true?

yours baffled with tech

cheers

Just gogled macrium reflect not knowing what it was. . (tech fool here)

so im guessing it acts a back up drive peice of software, hence you saying about using the 500gb as a back up?. I have a 2 tb external hd which i frequently back up too.

no i suggested macrium as it clones the hdd,it saves you having to re install everything,games/programs ect

ah right i see so possibly could get a 240gb SSD clone the c: which is currently 'all programs' in windows etc. .cheers for that handy to know. .

right X dock anyone?
