SSD and HDD queries

So, currently doing a new build, I've got a 128gb SSD, but I can't imagine that holding more than 3 games and Windows. I'm not sure what HDD to go with though, I'll probably have Steam on the other HDD to avoid complications with the folder getting too big, and standalone games on the SSD (Like BF3 etc) replacing them as I stop playing. But I don't want horrific load time differences, and as my knowledge of HDDs is pretty lacking I'm here, I'm thinking 1-2tb, but I'm not sure what else to look for in a drive, I don't want to spend more than £100 and I'd rather have a really good 1tb drive instead of a really slow 2tb. Thanks for any help guys.

The loading times between drives with different spin speeds are negligible. I have all my Steam games on a 2TB Samsung F4 (5900RPM) and they load no slower than those on my 1TB Samsung F3 (7200RPM).
Its not fair to compare those to the loading times on an SSD. Personally I would get a 2TB drive just because they are better value for ££ than the 1TB at the moment.

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM
Thats on this week only offer and is a decent drive.
Personally only had 1 seagate drive fail on me, but their RMA base is in Coventry so had a new drive the following week.

you can get quite a bit on a 128gb SSD windows only takes up around 20GB so you should have 100GB for games. just depends on what games.

I would get a 2TB HDD though as well

samsung f4 also gets my vote, great drive, ive seen a few failed seagates on here idk why, seems strange for a newish model

Cheers guys, I'll take a look at the Samsung F4. I've never had a problem with Seagate either but I'm always wary if someone says they've had problems. As I don't want to fill it up then have it die on me :p
