i am now waiting on Western Digital Caviar 750GB (7200 RPM) SATA 6GB/s 64MB 3.5 inch OEM Internal Hard Drive - Black to be delivered, if it ever does as its now out of stock and could be waiting some time to get 1 :( but for £55 i am willing to wait for that 1, my problem is that i have a new build and thats all i needed and just my luck, floods/prices and in short supply, is it worth getting a ssd now and add the 750gb hdd when arrives, if so which is a good 1 for less than £90 and what raid setup is best to use.

would like to know so i can get the best out of them :D thanks

i will pick up another ssd in a month or 2 with luck, as its a new build i will have win 7 and maybe WoW if i can get them on for now, nothing else really to go on it but that will change :) lookin at the m4, does it not really matter about the write speeds then.

m4+1 seems to be the best around atm and 128 is the most popular

Vista +all your drivers will take up around 50-60 GB quite quickly, so 1 game will most likely be the best you get from a 64GB...1 game not a MMORPG :)

if i can get a 60/64gb for now as thats all i can afford, it will do for windows 7 64bit as thats the only thing that would really be on it for now i can save a few pennies and get a larger 1 aswell, would it be best to have same make or will it make no difference :)

I have recently bought the 128 GB crucial M4 and it really is spot on. Also have an old 64GB Kingston SSD that is near useless now. You will be surprised how quick the 64GB will fill up with updates etc.
