SSD and Widnows

Hi

I need to change motherboard and hence winodows on the ssd need to be reinstalled. Is there a specific procedure I must follow, or is it just a quick format and then reinstall windows on the SSD.

which windows? vista/win 7 will align it correctly. Or if your only formatting that partition and dont delete the partition itll be fine.

If you don't want performance to suffer a secure erase on the drive before reinstall is recommended.
