I'm finally going to order a new ssd to replace my ageing 60gb vertex 2 boot drive. My vertex 2 is still very healthy, though not worth any money to bother selling. So would it be possible to use it as a cache for my sammy 2tb "steam" drive?
If it is, what would be the best way of doing it? i run a z77 system so could i use intel smart response? I dont want to format the 2tb drive if possible.
