SSD choices?

I'm stuck for what to buy, I have read loads of posts on the forum, but cant decide on which is best to get, the posts say Crucial or Samsung. Now from some posts I have read the Samsung 840-pro works out to have a better faster Read throughout the different tests, but how would people compare the

Also I have a Sony Vaio VPCF11C5E, would this make a difference in what SSD I Buy? as some posts read that its not worth going with the faster SSD's with older SATA II devices, now i play online games, and sometimes do web design and use photoshop on the laptop, so speed is a top priority.

Some people have said its better to go with the non-pro Samsung 840, but the Crucial listed above is faster and costs less?

How would they compare with reliability, as this is also a major factor?

youll only see half the rated read speeds if your laptop only has sata2 speed ports

so id go for a cheaper non pro 840

However as wazza says, I don't believe your laptop is capable of sata3 so going for the higher speeds is pointless, so you're better off with the 250GB samsung 840, slower speeds but you're not going to get anywhere near any of the speeds on SATA 2
